Repository Policy

JDHII is a fully open-access journal that provides immediate and permanent access to all published content on its own platform. The journal maintains its own dedicated, publicly accessible digital repository as the primary and authoritative source of record for all articles.

Primary Repository – JDHII Official Website

All articles published in JDHII are permanently hosted, preserved, and openly available on the journal’s official website: https://www.jdhii.com.

Articles are assigned a persistent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) upon publication (e.g., https://doi.org/10.XXXX/ciir/jdhii.xxxx.xxxx).

Full-text versions (PDFs) are freely downloadable without registration, embargo, or subscription barriers.

The journal operates under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), allowing unrestricted sharing, adaptation, and reuse provided proper attribution is given to the original authors and source.

Self-Archiving / Author Archiving Policy (Green Open Access)

JDHII supports authors in maximizing the visibility and impact of their work through self-archiving. Authors are permitted to deposit versions of their articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and other non-commercial platforms under the following conditions:

Accepted Manuscript (post-peer-review, pre-copyediting version – the “Author’s Accepted Manuscript” or AAM)

  • May be deposited immediately upon acceptance
  • May be made publicly available immediately (no embargo)
  • Must include a link to the final published version on the JDHII website and the DOI

Published Version (Version of Record – VoR)

  • May be deposited in any repository or website at any time
  • Must link back to the official published version on https://www.jdhii.org using the DOI

No Association with Third-Party Repositories

At present, JDHII is not formally indexed in or partnered with large disciplinary or general-purpose repositories such as PubMed Central, Europe PMC, arXiv, bioRxiv, or institutional aggregators. However:

  • The journal actively pursues inclusion in recognized indexes and repositories as it matures.
  • All content remains permanently accessible and preserved via the journal’s own platform.
  • Metadata (title, authors, abstract, keywords, DOI) is openly shared to facilitate discovery by search engines, Google Scholar, Crossref, and other indexing services.

Long-term Preservation

JDHII is committed to the long-term preservation of published content. The journal:

  • Maintains regular backups of all published articles and metadata.
  • Assigns DOIs through a Crossref membership (or equivalent persistent identifier provider).
  • Intends to arrange dark-archive preservation agreements with recognized long-term digital preservation services (such as CLOCKSS, Portico, or PKP PN) as resources permit.
